Saturday March 14 Santa Margarita Gun Club will host a practical precision/carbine rifle clinic at R218A aboard Camp Pendleton. This clinic consists of shooters firing rifles at reactive steel targets ranging from 150-900 meters from various challenging positions and props under time constraints. This is a fast-paced exciting venue that challenges shooting fundamentals, target acquisition, time management, and critical thinking.
The clinic will provide practice time for all shooters, new shooters in particular will be able to:
1) Set solid 100M zero.
2) Familiarize working the various barricades/obstacles in the match.
3) Targets at known distance so all shooters can true their guns and dope.
4) Gather suggestions/gaming tips specific to this shooting discipline.
5) We will have a Know Your Limits Target (2,4,6 and 8 inch circles) available for practice, and hopefully a wind call target up and running.
6) Pistol targets will be up for anyone needing practice/instruction.
